School Development Plan

Every year we review all our practice and the direction of the school. This process involves teachers, governors, parents and children, as well as a thorough analysis of our pupil performance data from the previous year. This review takes place between March and July every year and informs how we:

  • spend the school budget
  • allocate staff training
  • choose new opportunities for children’s learning
  • liaise with the community
  • interpret the initiatives that come from the government and from Shropshire as our local authority.

Every year we inform parents of the main priorities in the School Development Plan, which operates from September to the following July. The plan tells parents about the emphases they will see in the forthcoming academic year. The 2013-2014 plan can be downloaded below.

The school holds a much more detailed School Development Plan which sets out in great detail exactly which staff are involved in initiatives and when these will take place.
