This week in our art enrichment session, we delved into the festive spirit by creating personalised acrylic baubles. Using a combination of creativity and technique, each participant designed their unique decoration. We started with clear acrylic bauble blanks and transformed them using vibrant paint pens, layering colours and patterns to create stunning designs. The paint pens allowed for intricate detailing, giving each bauble a professional and polished look. Everyone brought their own flair to the process, with some opting for classic holiday themes like snowflakes and stars, while others showcased abstract designs or personal motifs.
To add a truly personal touch, we utilised a Scan and Cut machine to cut out our names in adhesive vinyl. This added an extra layer of customisation and individuality to each bauble. The process involved carefully selecting fonts and colours that complemented the painted designs. Once the names were cut, we adhered them to the baubles, making each piece one-of-a-kind. The session was not only a fun and festive way to explore art but also an opportunity to learn new skills and techniques. By the end of the session, everyone had a beautiful, handcrafted decoration to take home or gift to a loved one.
