Art Enrichment – Suncatchers This week, the children had lots of fun creating their very own sun catchers. First, they chose a shaped outline – many picked flowers or butterflies to match our spring theme. They carefully filled the inside of the outline with colourful pieces of tissue paper, choosing bright shades to help their designs shine in the sunlight. Once finished, the sun catchers were laminated to keep them strong and long-lasting. Holding them up to the window, the children could see the light shining through the colours just like stained glass. It was a lovely, creative activity that brought a burst of colour into the classroom!
