Be a Plant Whisperer – Half Term Activity

1pm – 2.30pm
With various fun activities, take a peek into the mysterious world of how plants talk to each other to warn about dangers and how trees use fungi to help them share nutrients. Also get to know a tree while blindfolded and when you have figured out its personality, why not give it a clay face?

‘Continence and Enuresis’ information for Nursery and Reception age children
A Message from Shropshire Community Health
“Hello
We know that some children can struggle with getting dry at night and in the day, and that constipation can be quite common for young people. This can make starting nursery and school a challenging time for some children and their parents/carers.
Please find attached some leaflets regarding this for your new cohort of nursery and reception aged children, which I hope they will find useful. The nursery leaflet attached is called ‘ Thinking about wee and poo now you’ve reached the age of 2’ and the Reception leaflet is called ‘Thinking about wee and poo now you’re on the way to school’
We would be very grateful if you could support us in sending these out when contacting the parents of your new intake of pupils. Please also feel free to send out to current nursery and reception children if you feel this would be useful!
If you have any enquiries from parents/carers regarding toileting then please ask them to contact our single point of access (SPOA) line on 0333 358 3328. Our School Nurse Team are available to offer initial advice and support to parents, as well as make referrals to the Continence Nurse for Paediatrics Team if further help is required.”
