Spooky Disco Arrangements

The ‘Spooky’ discos are on Thursday this week.

Nursery, Reception and KS1 children will be taken into the disco at 1.45pm, if they have a ticket.  All other children will remain in class. Children will then go back to class at 2.45pm and be collected from the classroom as normal at the end of the day.

KS2 children will go into the disco at 3pm, if they have a ticket. All other children will remain in class and will then be taken onto the playground at hometime as usual. At the end of the disco (4pm) the main door in reception will be opened and you can collect your child from the school hall.  Please enter the hall through the door opposite the nursery and leave the hall through the door opposite the Stars room.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Descriptive Writing

Today, as part of our descriptive writing unit, class 5 went on a roller coaster ride. We applied the literary devices we have been looking at, using examples of simile, metaphor, personification, hyperbole, onomatopoeia and alliteration to describe our experience.

You can watch (and hear) us here. We were very loud!
