Hi,
Well, that wasn’t quite what I expected for the first day back after residential.
I hope you are all feeling okay and quickly adjust to being at home. A letter has gone out on this site with information about what you will need to do to isolate. It’s important that you do isolate and not meet with friends or extended family.
To keep you busy, I will be posting work on hear for you to complete at home.
Literacy
Having completed our biographies on Jim Jarvis before residential, I would now like to start some work on an autobiography. To do this you will need to pretend to be Jim. Although you might want to mention about your early life, I would like you to concentrate on from your time with Grimy Nick, your escape from him, your time with the circus and your return to London and finding Dr Barnardo (Barnie) through meeting Shrimps.
To help you with your planning you could use the planning sheet (word) (PDF)
Spellings
This week we will continue with our look at synonyms and antonyms
ecstatic  jovial  exultant  elated  delighted
despondent  forlorn  dejected  woeful  dismal
Workbook
I would also like you to look at completing a maths/literacy workbook. This will probably take a few days, so don’t try and complete in one go.
Look for your initials to know which workbook to complete. There’s nothing to stop you trying both if you like.
