Parent/Carers,

As we sent out written reports to you at Easter, and the majority of the children have not been in school since, we will not be sending out written reports at the end of the year.

Instead we would like to offer you a ten minute phone call with your child’s teacher. As Miss White has left, Mrs Galloway will be making the phone calls to Snowdrops class. You will be given either a morning or afternoon slot for your call. Please see schedule below.

If you do not wish to receive a phone call please let the school know as soon as possible and we will take you off the list.  Mrs Galloway will call the mobile telephone number registered to the first contact on your child’s file. If you would prefer us to call a different person or number please let us know as soon as possible.

Mrs Galloway – Thursday 16th July

If your child’s surname begins with A-M you will receive a morning call.

If your child’s surname begins with O – W you will receive an afternoon call.

Thanks

Guy Verling

Mental Health Awareness Week

Hi everyone,

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and this year’s theme is kindness. To help celebrate and recognise the importance of kindness, I thought we could all try to do something kind for someone else each day this week. To help inspire you, I have attached some ideas but please feel free to think of your own acts of kindness.

Always remember:

In a world where you can be anything, be kind" quote #kindness ...

How are we getting on?

Hello all

I hope you’re doing well and staying safe. I’m just popping on to let you know that I am missing you all and I’m hoping home schooling isn’t as bad as you may have first thought!

Just a reminder to not put lots of pressure on yourselves! Go with the children’s ideas and help them learn along the way, you don’t always have to force learning. Try to enjoy stories as much as you can, maybe read them, write them, make them up, act them out, make a reading den, the ideas are endless!

Children are amazing because the find wonder in all aspects of everyday life. It’s not often we get the chance to slow down and wonder with them, take this opportunity.

I am sure you are all doing an amazing job of being exactly what your child needs right now. Don’t give up!

Stay safe everyone!
Miss White
