What a great week in KS1!
This week in Maths Year 1 have been learning their number bonds to 20, and knowing the additions which make the number bonds to 20. Year 2 have been learning all about money and how much each coin or note is worth. They have been using these skills to then add notes and coins together.
In Literacy we have written our Chance to Shines: Our non-chronological report about our capital city: London, and for Year 2’s they have compared two capital cities: London and Edinburgh. They have created some fantastic factual pieces of writing, and have published their work too.
In RE we have continued our learning about Salvation and how Christians celebrate Easter.
We have had a great Science week doing lots of activities relating to this year’s theme ‘Time’. We created seasons wheels and posters all about how we measure time, for example: days, months, minutes, hours.
