Scam Text messages can be forwarded to 7726 to help phone providers take early action and block numbers that generate spam on their networks.

Grandmother’ lunch

It was lovely to see so many grandmothers, nans, and nannies who joined us for our special Mother’s Day lunch. It was a joy to see the children’s faces light up as they welcomed their loved ones into our school. The atmosphere was filled with love and
laughter, and it truly was a heart-warming occasion.

Lots of socks – World Down Syndrome Day

Today, we showed our support for ‘World Down Syndrome Day’ in school.  Children and adults wore lots of different socks to start conversation and raise awareness of Down syndrome.

Class 5

What a fab last week of this term! Well done to all the children in KS1 for working so hard right up until the last day.

This week in Maths it has Problem solving week- we have been expert reasoners answering 2 step word problems. The children have all been fantastic using their mathematical knowledge to answer the word problems.

In RE we have used all the learning we have done about Salvation to answer our big question: ‘Why does Easter matter to Christians?’.

Today we enjoyed a lovely church service with lots of singing of our Easter songs but also our Value song ‘Truth I’m standing on’ which links to our value of Integrity this half term. We have been able to re-tell the Easter story and the days which are a part of Holy Week.

Reminders:

  • Books will be given out on the first Monday back. Your child should have brought home a book from the book corner to share over the holiday.
  • PE Days are CHANGING, there will be an update on the newsletter when it has been confirmed.

Have a lovely, restful Easter break 😊
