Please note Thursday 24th October is our last day in school this half term.

Friday 25th October is a PD Day. 

We return to school on Monday 4th November.

Thursday 24th October is the last day of term so we are holding a non-uniform day.

This is also the ‘Spooky Disco’ day. We have decided to have a non-uniform day to avoid bags of clothes being brought into school for children to change for the disco, which usually results in lots of clothes being left over half term or lost!!

Please can children wear normal non-uniform and not ‘Spooky’ costumes. If your child wishes to bring a costume to wear to the disco please ensure they do not bring any ‘Spooky’ accessories with them, as we can not be held responsible for damaged or lost items.

We have had several complaints that there is dog poo around the top pedestrian gate coming into school.

If you are bringing your dog to school can we please ask that all dog poo is picked up and disposed of in the bin on the edge of the playing field.

We have booked to take our reception and KS1 children on Christmas trips in December.

Snowdrops Class will be visiting Christmas Wishes at the Museum of Cannock Chase on Wednesday 4th December.

Ladybirds and Squirrels Classes will be visiting the Santa Safari at Hawkstone Park Follies on Friday 13th December.

Hedgehogs Class will be visiting Storytime with Father Christmas at Attingham Park on Wednesday 18th December.

Letters will be coming home with full details during the first week back after half term.

Spooky Disco – Thursday 24th October

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 – 1.45pm to 2.45pm

Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 – 3pm to 4pm

Please return your order slip if your child wishes to purchase a ticket

Tickets are £1.50 each and include a drink and a packet of crisps

Year 6 are organising a colouring competition to help raise funds for their leavers trip.

50p to enter. Please bring your 50p into school and you will be given a colouring sheet.  All entries must be in by Wednesday 23rd October ready for judging.

One prize for every class.

Your child has now brought their photo proof home for you to order, if you wish to.

Can all orders be returned to the school office by 9am Wednesday 23rd October please.

Hedgehog class will be visiting the Shawbury Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday 22nd October.

Letters came home this week with full details. Please ensure you consent on sQuid or return your reply slip for your child to attend this trip.
