Good Morning Nursery,
Can I start by thanking you all for working so hard at home with your grown up’s and sending me your fantastic work. The pictures of you we are getting make us miss you all so much and some of you have even earned up to 3 virtual stars!!.
All your work gets placed in your learning journey and I will make a collage of all your pictures for you all to enjoy as we near the end of lock down.
Todays learning along with your morning routine is some more BBC bitesize focusing on maths, please let me know how you found the last one.
Todays is number sequencing, counting and one more, one less songs so please have fun listening then try some number sequencing and counting. See if you can take one away or add one on with your grown up’s helping, this is very hard so its all about just having a go, don’t worry if its too hard this is why we practice, practice, practice.

I just wanted to send you all a picture of our acorn seed and show you how well it is doing, do you remember when we went for an autumn walk and picked up the acorns that had fallen off the oak tree? Well it has germinated and look what has grown, our very own oak tree sapling amazing!! We will be planting it out when it gets a little warmer and you can watch it grow as you all grow up through the school.
Now have a look at what our oak tree will need to grow! Talk about the pictures and what’s happening.

Can you now have a go at drawing your own oak tree, you can use the template provided or draw and colour in your own, you can sponge paint on leaves, use your fingers in paint, cut and stick on the colour green its up to you. But don’t forget to send me some pictures!
