U11 Boys Football – 13.11.25

Myddle Primary 0 – 3 St Mary’s CE Primary

Our first game of the year for the Year 5/6 boys ended in a wonderful win! A goalless first half, where the boys showed good discipline and determination was then eclipsed by a dominant second half where 3 really well taken goals were scored. The spirit the game was played in was a particular highlight and this was captured by the collective photo attached.

Well done!

U11 Girls Football – 12.11.25

St Mary’s CE Primary 1 – 2 Whitchurch CE Primary

Our Year 5/6 girls team gave a tremendous account of themselves in our first game of the school year, narrowly losing 2-1. The girls grew into the game and played well: creating chances, working hard and using the ball well. After conceding early, St Mary’s equalised and had a chance cleared off the line late in the game.

Well done!

Mr Al-Asmar

Sports Hall Athletics

Year 6 Sports Hall Athletics

Our Year 6 athletes attended Maurice Chandler Sports Centre on Thursday to compete in Sports Hall Athletics. It was a brilliant day out and our children were their usual polite, competitive and friendly selves, representing the school in exemplary fashion. Finishing a respectable 6th out of 10 schools, our stand out performances came in the relay races where we won 4 out of 5.

Class 3 Tennis Taster Session

Class 3 had a fun tennis taster session today delivered by the coaches at High Ercall Tennis Club.

Today, the children were introduced to the basics of tennis, starting with fundamental ball control activities designed to build their confidence and coordination. They also bounced the ball gently with a racket ensuring they were holding the racket correctly. These activities will not only help improve their hand-eye coordination but also encourage them to stay active and enjoy trying something new in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Class 3 had an enjoyable session 🙂
