Class 10 Weekly News – Hawkstone Park Follies Yesterday Class 10 visited Hawkstone Park Follies as part of their Greta and Attenborough’s Army topic. While on the trip they explored different plants/trees, interviewed the park guides on how the staff look after the environment, took part in litter picking and used maps to explore the monument, caves and surrounding areas. This was a brilliant trip and all the park leaders were amazed at the knowledge and determination of the children. The day involved lots of walking and opportunities to explore and ask questions. While in the cave, the children found fossils. This made a perfect link to our science topic of evolution. Here are some pictures of our day. Remember that Tuesday 5th March is KS2 Oracy workshops. We would love to see as many of you as possible as the class are really looking forward to talking and presenting their work to you.
