Class 10 have had a fantastic first week back and have all been approaching their work with a positive attitude. The build up to SATs has started and the class have been working extremely hard in class and completing their weekly homework tasks. Keep up the great work Class 10.
In Science this week, Class 10 brought their Evolution and Inheritance unit to an end. They did this by designing their own flanimal, based on the books by Ricky Gervais, and writing a detailed description about their own flanimal. The class had so much fun designing and writing about their own flanimal and have produced some outstanding work. They needed to write about the adaptations their flanimal has in order to survive in their environment, any mutations that occurred in the species and what they have inherited from ancestors. Also, considering how the descendant has evolved over time in order to reproduce.
