Class 4

Welcome to Class 4

KS1 Enjoy a Royal Afternoon Tea!

In KS1 the children have been very busy learning all about London in Geography and English. They have explored famous landmarks, talked about what makes London special, and learned about traditional British customs.

As part of their learning, the children decided to host their very own afternoon tea! After talking about what you might find at a traditional afternoon tea in London, the children worked together to prepare delicious scones and sandwiches. There was lots of mixing, spreading, and careful teamwork – and even more excitement!

The afternoon tea was extra special as the children welcomed a very important visitor – “the King” 👑. The children proudly shared their food and used wonderful manners, showing just how much they had learned about this British tradition.

To finish off their learning, the children wrote their own instructions explaining how to make afternoon tea. They worked hard to order their steps carefully, use bossy verbs, and think about what someone would need to know to follow their instructions successfully.

Well done to all our KS1 children for their fantastic learning, teamwork, and creativity – a truly royal effort! ☕🍰

End of the year!

Wow! This year has flown by, I can’t believe it is already the last day of term. Thank you so much for all the gifts, cards and well wishes I really appreciate them. All of the children in Class 4 have grown in confidence, formed strong friendships and learnt lots and lots! I have felt very privileged to be their teacher and their teachers next year are very lucky!

We have been trying our best to keep cool this week with lots of fun activities too. We made stages with pictures and writing about their favourite part of the year, played summer themed bingo and did word searches. We have also written all about our dreams and what job we would like to do in the future. These were lovely to read!

I have attached a couple of resources for things to do over the summer holidays. The children are already familiar with Zen Den Yoga and Mindfulness and Disney Dancing and there is lots more to explore. My_Activity_Passport Active Families Holiday Challenge

I hope you have an enjoyable summer and enjoy your new class. I am sure you will all settle in quickly and achieve so much!
