Nursery news – summer term

Hi everyone!

Summer term has almost arrived!

This half term our topic is – ‘Into the woods’.

We will be starting off by looking at non fiction books about woodlands and woodland creatures. Each week we will then have a different story focus using the following stories – Goldilocks and the three bears, Little red riding hood, We’re going on a bear hunt, Winnie the Pooh and the great Heffalump and ending with my favourite The Gruffalo.

As the weather is starting to improve and the sun is starting to shine, can all children please make sure that they have the following things in nursery with them every day…
– sun hat
– sun cream
– water bottle

All of these items need to be in nursery every day and clearly labelled with their name.

Miss Beeden will be joining our EY team this term, teaching in nursery on a Thursday and Friday. She can’t wait to meet you all.
