Eco Club Makes a Splash with Water Conservation & Game Design 💧🎲
This week, our Eco Club dove into an important topic: water conservation—and they did it in the most creative way possible!
The session began with a discussion about why water is such a precious resource. Students explored where our water comes from, how much we use every day, and simple ways individuals and communities can reduce waste. From turning off the tap while brushing teeth to rethinking how we water gardens, the group shared thoughtful ideas and asked big questions about sustainability and responsibility.
Then came the fun part: creating their own water conservation board games.
Working in small teams, Eco Club members designed games that taught players how to make smart water choices. The games were colourful, clever, and packed with learning.
As students tested each other’s games, the room buzzed with laughter, strategy, and “aha!” moments. More importantly, they proved that learning about environmental issues doesn’t have to be boring—it can be hands-on, collaborative, and fun.
By the end of the session, Eco Club members walked away not only with a deeper understanding of water conservation, but also with the confidence that their ideas can inspire change. We’re so proud of their creativity and commitment to protecting our planet—one drop (and one board game) at a time. 🌍💙
