Enrichment Friday- First Aid

This week in First Aid we looked at how we can treat bites and stings.
The group practised treating bites by cleaning the wound and then dressing the wound. Then they practised treating stings by removing the sting if it is visible, putting a cold compress on it and if the patient requires further help we need to ring 999 or 112.
We ended our final session by recapping our knowledge of basic life support and bandaging which everyone had a go at practising again.
