Enrichment Friday: Sewing Our sewing enrichment group has been hard at work making needle holders. They’re not quite finished yet, but they’re already looking fantastic – and there’s been lots of learning along the way! The group have been developing some great skills, including: • Basic sewing techniques (running stitch, threading needles, knotting) • Hand–eye coordination • Patience and concentration • Following instructions and sequencing steps • Creativity and design choices • Problem-solving when things don’t go to plan Great effort, growing confidence, and lovely creativity from everyone.
