This week the children have been learning basic sewing skills such as threading needles, tying knots, and using simple stitches safely and confidently. Over the next few weeks, we will be designing a cuddly toy, choosing fabrics, and sewing our creations step by step.
This project aims to build fine motor skills, creativity, perseverance, and confidence as children watch their ideas come to life. We can’t wait to share their finished toys with you in a future newsletter!
