This week in Yoga Enrichment, the children enjoyed a calm and mindful session focused on relaxation, movement and creativity.
We began with a peaceful guided meditation, helping the children to settle their minds, focus on their breathing and feel relaxed and ready for the session ahead. Afterwards, we warmed up our bodies with a range of gentle stretches.
The highlight of the session was a collaborative challenge where the children worked together in small groups to create their own yoga poses. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they demonstrated their creations and explained how they worked together to achieve them.
The children had a fantastic time developing their mindfulness, physical wellbeing and cooperative skills while having lots of fun.
