This week in first aid enrichment, we learned about minor and major head injuries and how to treat them. We learned how to recognise the difference between a small bump and a more serious injury by looking for warning signs such as vomiting, confusion or loss of consciousness. We now understand how important it is to stay calm, keep the person still, and call for help if the injury seems serious. Making a poster helped us to remember the key signs and treatments because we had to explain the information clearly.
