We have been learning about Ancient Egypt in year 3 and 4. As part of our English learning we have been preparing to write our own mystery story and took part in hot seating an archaeologist this week. The children asked some excellent questions such as, “what was the temperature like in the tombs you discovered?” “How did you feel when you entered a tomb?”, etc.
We are really looking forward to the Widget Workshop coming in on Monday and will hopefully see lots of the children dressed up in ancient Egyptian clothing. Watch this space for lots of photos and QR codes of our special day!
