In LKS2 this week we have been learning about influential people during the civil rights movement. We looked at the art work of Romare Bearden and made mixed media monochromatic collages in a similar style.
We have learnt so much about the struggles of people, and the positive impact that people have when they stand together and unite. We read Benjamin Zephaniah’s poem ‘People need people’ and reflected on the heart warming message that he was spreading.
