We’ve had a wonderful start to our new topic, On the Farm, and the children have been absolutely buzzing with excitement. They’ve loved sharing their own experiences of visiting farms and talking confidently about the animals they’ve seen.
A particular highlight so far has been the children setting up their own Animal Care Station. Through imaginative play, they’ve been telling their own stories, caring for animals, and pretending to be farmers- developing their language, creativity and social skills as they play together.
We’re also incredibly grateful to our farmer parents who have kindly agreed to bring in some real farm animals for the children to see. This will be such a special and memorable experience and a fantastic way to bring our learning to life.
