Class 9 and Class 10 enjoyed an exciting educational visit to RAF Cosford Museum, where they took part in a fascinating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Day.
The day was delivered in partnership with the Royal Air Force Youth STEM Team, the event showcased some of the very best STEM opportunities from across the Midlands. Pupils discovered the innovative work being carried out by companies and institutions involved in science, research, engineering, manufacturing and technology, helping them to see the many exciting career pathways available within the STEM sector.
One of the highlights of the visit was the “Flight to the Future” science show. During this interactive show, pupils explored the science behind flight and gained an insight into the future of aviation. The show encouraged curiosity and helped children to understand how science and engineering continue to influence modern science.
It was a fantastic day of discovery that inspired our pupils to think about the exciting possibilities that science, technology, engineering and mathematics can offer.
