St. Mary's CE Primary School is situated in a delightful village not far from the Shropshire town of Shrewsbury, UK. We are very proud or our school, it's children and staff. St. Mary's School aims to provide each individual child with an attractive, stimulating, caring learning environment, where all members of its community are valued. High standards of work and behaviour are insisted upon and achieved.
Children can come into school from 8.40am in the morning ready for the bell to ring 8.50am for registration. Before this time the children are the responsibility of their parents. The bell is rung at 8.50 am when children walk into school. After this time, children who are late must come into school via the main office.
Children arriving after 9am are recorded as late. Please make every effort to get children to school on time.
School finishes for children at 3.10pm. Parents for Reception, Classes 1, 2 and 3 are asked to collect their children from outside their classroom via the class external door. Older children need to be collected from the main school playground. Year 6 children may walk or cycle home alone provided that the school has been previously informed in writing of this arrangement.
Those children travelling on the school bus or being collected by Shawbury Stars or Hazles meet in the foyer and may only board the bus when given permission by the adult collecting them.
