Our first ever ‘Spelling Bee’ competition at St Mary’s was a success! The whole school took part in spelling activities to see who would spell in the finals.
The finals did not disappoint as the finalist competed against each other to see who would be crowned champions. The results were so close between the competitors with a difference of 1-2 points between children.
Each year group had spelling for their year group with tier 3 words relating to their curriculum. Some words were quite tricky!
A big thank you to KS1 and KS2 children who were absolutely amazing in creating the perfect environment for the children to focus on spelling words correctly
