We have had a lovely week this week!

Our book was Penguin Post by Debi Gliori! Such a treat!

In English – we have been retelling the story and starting to plan letters to Santa!

Phonics – we learnt the sounds – z x and w

Maths – this week we have been focussing on learning all about the numbers 4 and 5 in lots of different ways!

In the afternoons – we have learnt the dance moves for The Wheels on the Bus, made some decorations out of clay and made some wonderful decorations for the classroom. The children have had a lovely time playing with the new dolly trunk delivered to school by Mrs Unsworth and they have had a lovely time playing with all the new toys in there.

Coming up next week –

Phonics sounds – sh, ch and th.

Maths – focussing on one more and one less and shapes with 4 sides.

English – we will be writing our letters to Santa and making a start on Christmas cards…
