Grand Final Glory for Our Chess Teams
We are incredibly proud of our Team A and Team B chess teams who competed in the Grand Finals, of the Shropshire Primary School Chess Championship today.
A special congratulations goes to Team A who delivered an outstanding performance to secure the overall win and bring home the championship trophy.
Both teams showed fantastic focus, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition, representing the school brilliantly.
A huge thank you to Mr Pugh for his dedication in leading lessons and after school chess clubs, his support and guidance have played a vital role in the teams success.
It was a wonderful achievement for everyone involved. Well done to all our players for their hard work, teamwork and dedication. You have done St Mary’s proud.
