Year 3 and 4 Xplore Year 3 and 4 recently enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Xplore Science, where we took part in a variety of hands-on activities throughout the day. Our visit focused on exploring the fascinating world of physics, and we had the opportunity to dive into some truly eye-opening experiments. One of the highlights was a light and sound workshop, where we discovered how light travels in waves and how sound moves through different materials. The activities were interactive and fun, helping us to understand scientific concepts in a memorable way. We also took part in an engineering challenge where we created our own solar-powered fairground rides. It was amazing to see how energy from the sun could be used to power something we built ourselves! Everyone worked together, using creativity and problem-solving skills to design and test their rides. The whole day was packed with excitement, learning, and teamwork. We returned to school buzzing with new knowledge and a greater appreciation for the wonders of science.
