Year 5/6 carers afternoon Year 5 and Year 6 had special visitors come in to talk about their careers. One visitor was a social worker who explained how she supports young people and families. The children even tried an activity that she might use with the young children she works with, which helped them understand her job better. Another visitor worked in IT and spoke about how technology is used in different workplaces. The pupils enjoyed learning about these careers and asking questions about the visitors’ jobs.
