During our workshop today we worked with Caroline Greaney from The Right Path Guiding Change. We discussed gender stereotypes around boys and girls games and job roles. We explored why we might have these gender stereotypes and the importance of breaking stereotypes. In addition to this, we explored patriarchy and the history around this. Also, what objectification means and the age restrictions of social media apps. Discussing the pros and cons of using social media. Both classes engaged well in the workshop and asked sensible questions to find out more.
