Year 6 Home Learning March 23rd

Hopefully, by now, you will have started to look at the materials on Education City. As you work through them, have a look at the guidance advice first so that you have a better understanding of what is required before you attempt it.

For a little  variety in your work, I will be linking to the Hamilton Trust website as they have a week’s worth of materials in one handy location.

In the Literacy work, it would be ideal if you could read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Don’t worry if you can’t, as the extracts required to answer the questions are included. You could also listen to the story on Audible:

In Science, we have been looking at evolution and inheritance. I’m sure you have all seen Madagascar and how the animals ‘evolve’ in order to escape the zoo. Why not take time to watch the animals at Edinburgh Zoo and consider how  they are adjusting to life without visitors.

Lastly, don’t forget PE with Joe Wicks.

Keep safe.
